E's Review of a City Park

My mom says they don't make city parks like they used to . . . they are way cooler now! On Sunday, Father's Day, my family headed out to the latest and greatest in city parks. Its playground includes all the normal stuff like slides, bridges, ladders and swings, but instead of the usual messy sand, pebbles or wood chips, this one is built on a super cool spongy surface.

But the best part was the water park. Yep, you heard me right, a water park!

Cousin T and I were caught in the crossfire of the water shooters!

My favorite part was the bucket tree! That's me, wondering which bucket is going to tip. That's my buddy E in the background.

Oh boy, that was a close call!

At first, I didn't like the tunnels as much. Too much water in my eyes!

But then I figured out that I just needed to pick up the pace and run right through!

If your looking for some fun in the sun, I highly recommend this Apple Valley city park!
