Twila Paris!

Friday night, my mom treated Jen and I to a Twila Paris concert in Fargo! Many of you have probably heard me go on and on about how much I LOVE Twila Paris and how much her music has blessed me over the years.

After the concert, Jen and I noticed a table with some security guards standing near it - sure enough, it was an autograph table. After most of the crowd had left, out pops the one and only, TWILA PARIS!!

As she signed the CD that I had purchased, I tried to keep my emotions in check enough to express my gratitude for the way she has allowed the Lord to work through her to bless my life. I also thought she might find it fun to know that our wedding was opened and closed with her songs. (You Have Been Good and The Blessing.) When I told her about using The Blessing, she was so surprised because it was off of her lullaby CD, and went on to tell me that it was actually a song she wrote and sang for her brother's wedding!

Somehow, the first time I heard that song, I just knew it was meant to be sung at a wedding!

Thank you mom! It was a very special treat!
