With sub zero temperatures keeping us indoors, we've been trying to come up with creative activities to burn off a bit of energy. Last night our source of entertainment was the "Bjorndahl Family Olympics". Check out these athletes!

Before getting started, you gotta get dressed for success!

"It's important to pre-hydrate!"

The obstacle course began with the Bear Toss,

followed by the Big Leap.

(I couldn't resist this picture even though he jumped out of the shot!)

A little brain work at the Puzzle Station.

Crawling through the High Chair Cave

Shootin' Hoops

The grueling cycling leg of the course . . .

and the Drum Stop.

The final challenge - The Big Blue Tunnel!

Crossing the Finish Line
(Some cross with more flair than others!)

"Good Game"
A great time was had by all!
(By the way, Henrik and I competed too, but I didn't want to torture you with the pictures of Henrik and I trying to get through that blue tunnel!)

And I thought Erik had an imagination!
You are SO creative! What a great idea to burn off a little of that energy! And just think, the Olympics are just a few short months away now so the boys will be well-prepared for tryouts!
Please, I want that torture ;-)
I don´t know if You say it this way, but in Sweden we say: A good laugh makes Your life longer.

Yeah, I think we should see the WHOLE team! All the competitors!
The blue tunnel, the blue tunnel...
it is cold here so I told my kids to leave me alone while I sat under a blanket.
You are a Mother of the Year contender.

Carrie - that is such a good idea. Boys always need physical activity to burn off all their energy. You have inspired me to do something similar next week if we're stuck inside. Thanks!
You guys sure know how to have fun indoors! In a few short years I will be having Olympics of my own! They certainly enjoyed themselves.
What great parents you both are!! So fun for the boys! I want to participate in the family Olympics!
I still have a Christmas card for you guys! I can't find your address.! You'll get it soon!

I love it! You guys are such fun parents - and I agree, we need to see a "team" shot! :)
