The B-Brothers

We had heard about it. We hoped for it, prayed for it, and dreamed of the day it would become a reality. The boys have started playing together!!!

This may seem like a simple and rather anti-climatic event to many of you, however, I would guess if you are a parent or someone who has spent any time taking care of children, you understand why we are so overjoyed. A bit of free time to get something done while the B-brothers keep one another entertained!!!

In all seriousness, we are praising the Lord for the relationship that is developing between E and N. It has been our prayer that they become best friends. They have very different personalities, but the love between them as brothers is beautiful. During one of our bouts with runny noses, E came to me with this precious sentence: "Mamma, help Webbie Kleenex, peez". It was one of those "melt my heart" moments. Many evenings are spent playing "puppies"- a game in which both boys crawl around the house barking and eating puppy food (Cheerios) off the floor. (No my floors are NOT clean enough to eat off of, but the puppies don't seem to mind!) Another favorite thing to do is grilling as seen in the picture above. It's never too early to get them started on the cooking!

Many of you have asked if we think the boys look alike. I guess to us they seem pretty different, but you can make up your own mind! Here's a picture of each of the boys at 10 months. Unfortunately, I think they both have my nose, but thankfully they also have their Pappa's good looks!
