A Great Weekend Part III

To wrap up a great Memorial Day weekend, we headed to the St. Paul Saints game on Sunday night. It was perfect weather to be at an outdoor stadium and the boys loved being so close to the action.

Go Saint's Go!

When we arrived, the Saints' pitchers were warming up about 15 feet in front of us - as you may have guessed, E was ecstatic though you'd be hard pressed to know it from this picture. This baseball stuff is serious business!

Here's our shot with "The Nerd". If you haven't been to a Saints' game, we'd highly recommend getting to one! There are all kinds of fun extras like the pig that runs out on the field to start the game, contests between innings, this crazy nerd, face painters, and a bunch of other fun things to make the experience one that you will remember!

Another really fun thing we've noticed about Saints' games is that it's the norm to get to know everyone sitting around you. Both times we've been to a game, we've gotten to know the families that we were sitting by, and end up just enjoying the game together. This time we met Jim, Laura, and their kids from Anoka. Josh was such a good buddy to E and played catch with him. After a while, E asked to sit up next to "mine friend Josh".

Let us know if you'd like to go to a game sometime - we'll be looking for an excuse to go again!
