We were home to Fergus Falls for the weekend. While we were there, we took in some of the Summer Fest excitement. It was E's first experience with "parade candy"!

Auntie Jennifer was a great partner and helped him master the techniques of candy retrieval.

Highlights included fire trucks, tractors, and the Shriner race cars!

E waved at each float that passed by.

Henrik ran the Runaway Bride 5K race and placed third in his age group!
N enjoyed snacking on Daddy's blue Gogurt after the race.

Great job Daddy!

Sounds like Summerfest was a blast with the family! Way to go Henrik on your big finish in the race - I think Kevin wishes he could have done it. Hope to see you in a couple weekends!
It looks like you all had a wonderful time together at the Parade. It's something that all children need to experience, I think. There's really nothing like going to a small town parade and grabbing candy! Lisa's kids were there too this week and LOVED it! Holly rode on the horses with my sister-in-law, Liz, leading. That was a great highlight!
Congratulations on the finish H. I hope Auntie J shared her candy with E and N. :o) TR2
