Chahinkapa Zoo

We hit the road and headed to Wahpeton for a day at Chahinkapa Zoo. Since moving away from the Cities, we have to travel a bit further to visit a zoo, but the weather was perfect and we were very impressed with Chahinkapa! Though it is not a huge place, they have a great variety of animals, and the boys were very excited with the "up close and personal" feel of this zoo.

N was willing to pose for a pictures in front of this camel . . . and then my camera battery died!

So we don't have any other pics from our fun day, but I can tell you that the Spider Monkeys were the best entertainment of the day. We laughed and laughed as we watched their antics. E would have watched them All DAY!! We finished off the day with a ride on the old fashioned carousel and lunch at the Fry'n Pan! A perfect day!
