Big T's Party!

An Olympic celebration was perfect for our nephew T's third birthday. He has an amazing wealth of knowledge regarding flags and the Olympics was a perfect way to showcase some of his favorite flags! (Henrik was pleased to see that Sweden made the cake!)

The boys all loved the pinata! Here's a tap from T.

Another gentle bump from N.

A swing from our friend E.

And an all out whack from E. But no tap, bump, swing or whack could crack this pinata, so Uncle Michael got out the . . .

BIG GUNS!!!!

N ran for cover . . .

and soon there was candy for everyone!

"This one tastes good even through the wrapper!"

Gold medals and bags full of candy! You can't make a three-year-old any happier!

T's response to E & N's singing of "Happy Birthday". (It was kind of painful!)

The boys all picked which color cake they wanted - can you tell what N picked???

And at the end of the wonderful party, we thought it would be fun to get one darling picture of our three boys together. This is what we got . . . Maybe next year!

We love you T - Have a wonderful year being three!

Those pictures are adorable. And I LOVE the last picture of the three of them. That's totally the type of picture that we get MANY of when the cousins get together.

Too funny.

Oh your angle on the pic of T with his cake clears things up for me. I thought that maybe Michael made him hold his ears so he wouldn't touch the cake or something. (it didn't look like ear plugging in their blog). You family gatherings look so much like ours. We really should get together again - a little chaos is always entertaining and good for a few laughs!
