I've fallen behind on my blogging this week, so I promise to post some pictures soon, but I had to share this little story that just happened with E a few minutes ago while putting him to bed.
As we were praying, (which usually consists of me doing the majority of the praying and him interrupting with a ton of questions about every thing or person I'm praying about) I prayed for one of our special friends who has been very sick. I prayed that she'd be gaining strength and able to play basketball and be involved in her school activities again soon. E interrupted with the question, "Mom, do girls play basketball?" I emphatically answered, "Of course they do. Mommy played basketball when I was a young girl." Then, with an odd look on his face he said, "I'm surprised."

That is hilarious! It's a good thing we don't get our self-esteem from three year olds!
Oh, E. You make me laugh. I just sat down at the computer to do a truck load of school work but decided to check a few blogs first. Your story gave me just the chuckle I needed to get my work started.
Oh....and Uncle M says to remind your mom that the second born is always more athletic than the first :)
i think it would only be right if you hit the courts to show him your skills one more time.

I too was a basketball player E. I have lots of pictures of me with uniforms that are just way too tight! :o)
What a great story, and chuckle! You have to love the pure thoughts of little ones!
