You know those child safety door knob covers? They don't really work that well - E had them figured out at 18 months. However, I decided there must be someway to outsmart an 18 month old so I wrapped sock around the door knob first, and then placed the cover on top. This makes it much harder to apply enough pressure to open the door (even for Henrik & I!!!)
Until last weekend, our simple sock solution had worked wonders. Then the brothers Bjorndahl just couldn't resist trying to get to their dad who was behind closed doors.
Here's what their plan looked like . . .

Wrap a jump rope around the doorknob,

join forces and pull with all your might!

Unfortunately, it worked . . .
over and over and over.
